2N Doorstation Driver for Crestron Home
The 2N Doorstation driver exposes a 2N IP intercom or access unit as a programmable control surface in Crestron Home. It gives you the device's switches (door strikes and relays), its digital inputs, its relay and output, and SIP call control — each available as a tile control, a Crestron Home programming action, and a programming event. Use it to drive a strike from a scene, react to a door contact or a call button in programming, or place and end intercom calls.
It is the current, web-configured version of the long-standing 2N Basic Http driver, rebuilt on the
Crestron Home entity model. Because it keeps the same product SKU (CHTWONHW), existing licence keys
continue to work.

This driver is an extension device — raw switches, inputs and call control for programming. If you want the door to appear as a native Crestron Home lock with PIN users, schedules and a standard lock tile, use the 2N Native Lock Driver instead. The two can be used together on the same site.
Compatibility
- Crestron Home 4-series projects only (including CP4-R and DIN-AP4-R). 3-series is not supported.
- 2N IP Intercom and 2N Access Unit ranges over the 2N HTTP API — IP Verso, IP Solo, IP Style, IP Force, IP Base, IP Uni, Access Unit M and Access Unit 2.0.
- Setup app path: Drivers → Lock → 2N → 2N Doorstation V2.
Licence
The driver is a licensed product (SKU CHTWONHW). Enter a licence key during setup; all device actions —
switches, dial and hang-up — are suppressed until the driver is licensed. Feedback (inputs, events, the
diagnostics app) still functions unlicensed, but nothing is driven on the 2N.
Purchase or manage a key from the
LCD web store. The licence and the hosted product
app are managed through the LCD Product MicroApp — see
Product MicroApp in LCD Tools. Because the SKU is
unchanged from the previous Basic Http driver, a site already licensed for CHTWONHW re-uses its existing
activation.
How it works
The driver connects to the 2N over its HTTP API and continuously monitors the device's event log. Commands (open/close a switch, dial, hang up) are sent to the 2N; state and events (switch changes, input open/close, relay and output changes, motion, noise, call-button presses, call state) come back from the event log and are published to Crestron Home.
